Immunisations for teenagers and young people

The Government has published a guide to immunisation for teenagers and young people that contains essential information on immunisations for teenagers and young people in England, focusing on the vaccines provided to those in school years 7 to 13.

It highlights the importance of immunisation in preventing diseases like HPV, tetanus, diphtheria, polio and meningitis, and outlines the vaccine schedules, potential side-effects and how these vaccines protect both individuals and communities.

Additionally, it provides advice on missed vaccinations, what to do if you're ill on the day of your appointment, and where to find further information or support.
