YoungMinds 

Anna Freud 

A charity that helps children with their feelings such as loneliness. To find out more visit their self-care page. They suggest: 

  • Being kind to yourself

  • Joining online chat or support groups 

  • Volunteering 

  • Getting text message support 

NSPCC Building Connections 

  • Helps young people build confidence and manage loneliness. Ask an adult to refer you if you’re interested. 

NHS Better Health

Cruse Bereavement Support 

  • Help for children and young people who are feeling sad or lonely after someone dies. 

Crane Quality Counselling 

  • Offers 6 free counselling bereavement sessions for children and young people in Shropshire. Call 0345 678 9028. 

Challenging Perceptions 

  • A charity that proved services for children and young people with mental health, learning disabilities, and autism needs. 

Shropshire Youth Association’s Youth Club XYZ 

  • A youth club for LGBTQI+ young people in Shrewsbury.

Offers free meditations for loneliness (7-day trial). Visit: Headspace
