Maninplace is a supported accommodation and intensive housing management service set up to provide emergency, temporary, longer-term and assisted living accommodation for people who present as rough sleeping or homeless in the borough of Telford & Wrekin.
Established in 2006 as a not for profit community enterprise, Maninplace set out to provide accommodation for those who were unable to access social housing and private sector rental properties due to limited income and lifestyle. Maninplace came about as a result of the daily experiences at the previously operated and funded Salvation Army KiP Information Project in Wellington. As a charity and not for profit community interest company, Maninplace has taken over the daily running and funding of the KiP service, now known as KiP@Maninplace, which continues to operate an an dependant information service for those who visit and access its services, the KiP@Maninplace service is further complimented by the accommodation and support offered by Maninplace.
